BIOGRAPHY:

Chad McKenzieDr. McKenzie specializes in vascular and general surgery. Board certified in osteopathic medicine, he received his Bachelor of Science degree in biology from the Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, Okla. He holds a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from the Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Tulsa, Okla. He completed an internship and residency in general surgery at St. Barnabas Hospital in Bronx, N.Y.

Dr. McKenzie also completed general surgery residencies at Lincoln Hospital Trauma Center and Montefiore Medical Center, also in Bronx. In addition, he completed residencies in general surgery at the Babies & Children’s Hospital of New York in New York, N.Y., as well as the Deborah Heart and Lung Center in Browns Mills, N.J. He has a fellowship in vascular surgery from the Cleveland Vascular Institute in Cleveland, Ohio.

Prior to joining Bon Secours, Dr. McKenzie was in private practice in Portsmouth, Va. He is a member of several professional organizations including the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons, the New York Society of Osteopathic Physicians, the American Osteopathic Association and the Cleveland Vascular Society. Additionally, he is a founding member and director of Physicians for Humanity.
